With our revolutionary noninvasive procedure, we lift the sagging skin to give you a sharp, yet natural, and gentle look. For various skin concerns, Nouveau Aesthetics is your trusted PDO Threads treatment provider in Sunrise, Florida.

What are PDO Threads?

Polydioxanone thread is a biocompatible material used to enhance the aesthetics or suturing incisions after medical procedures. The polydioxanone component used in the thread is famous for improving the skin’s firmness and elasticity without surgery. Once implanted into the skin, the threads create micro-injuries in the dermal tissues, boosting collagen production. The minimally invasive procedure takes around 30 minutes with minimal downtime, leaving no scars after treatment. Within three months of the treatment, collagen develops around the thread, rejuvenating your facial tissues for 12-18 months.

At Nouveau Aesthetics, we use the FDA-approved, highest-quality NovaThreads and other innovative techniques under the expert eye of Geoffrey to revive your youthful appearance.

Different Types of

PDO Threads

Each individual has unique skin concerns, and to address the needs of our patients, we offer three different types of PDO threads.

Smooth Threads

Smooth PDO thread rejuvenates and improves skin texture. The threads stimulate collagen production, treating fine lines, wrinkles, and overall skin quality. Smooth threads are inserted into the skin to promote a subtle lifting effect and to enhance skin elasticity.

VolumizeThreads

Volumizing threads treatment adds volume and structure to areas that have lost volume due to aging, genetics, or other factors. These threads can be placed deep within the skin to support and lift tissues, restoring youthful contours to the cheeks, temples, and midface.

Lift Threads

Lift threads have tiny barbs or cones along their length, which penetrate the skin tissue to lift and reposition sagging skin for more noticeable lifting effects. The threads are often used for areas with more significant laxity, such as the cheeks, jawline, or neck, to create a tighter, more lifted appearance.

PDO Threads Treatment Process

First, you will receive an initial assessment from Geoffrey to discuss your personalized plan according to your aesthetic goals. The treatment procedure begins with applying a topical numbing ointment or local anesthetic to the treatment area. Once the numbing agent works, the threads are injected through cannulas or blunt-tipped needles into the subcutaneous layer of the skin. Upon injecting the thread into the skin, it raises the skin upwards, and the external threads are snipped off, resulting in immediate lift. The entire procedure is conducted with minimal pain or discomfort.

PDO Threads Treatment Aftercare

Once the procedure is complete, you can resume your regular activity without downtime. However, you might notice redness, swelling, soreness, bruising, or pinprick marks at the treatment site, which fade away within a week. Our experts will provide you with instructions on post-treatment care for a long-lasting result. Generally, we advise you to keep the skin moisturized and hydrated and avoid facial treatment, massages, or applying extreme pressure on the treatment for one to two weeks.
